The boys had a fun day boarding at Schweitzer. It rained a bit and they came in pretty wet. I didn't get any of them actually boarding. Bummer

Ethan

Ethan made us dinner tonight. Pasta w/ shrimp and broccoli. Yummy

He took his purple duct tape and tape his glasses. Goofy child!

No new pictures! This weekend was beautiful! Mom and the sisters came over on Saturday and we took a 4 mile walk and had a BBQ. I guess I should have got the camera out. lol Today is horribly gloomy again and it makes me depressed. I am SO ready for Spring and sunshine.

I have found 2 tiny puppies that will stay around 3-5 lbs and I am trying very hard to talk some sense into myself. I miss snuggling with Dozer so much, but I don't miss the barking. The lady lives down the road and I talked to her yesterday, but I haven't went to see them in person because there is no way I would make it home without one. lol

Tucker wants me to write that he set up the trampoline also. lol Now he is complaining that I wrote it like that. lol It sure is fun bugging him.

Feeling sad

Well we sold Dozer yesterday. I am missing his snuggles, but it was nice to be able to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without worrying about the dog. We had him for 2 weeks and I still could not leave his sight without him barking insanely. He was such a sweetie and I really enjoying snuggling him, but was unable to get anything done because I couldn't leave the room without his horrible barking. I also found pee all over my bedspread the other day. I am assuming while I was sick and unable to bring him to the bathroom with me he peed on the bed. Aside from the barking he would pee/poop anytime I felt him. I wish people would just be honest about the animals they sell. I never would have bought him if I knew he had major separate anxiety. I told the woman ALL if "bad issues" and she still wanted him. He is actually just down the road a ways at the Spirit Lake Marina. He will go to work with her each day and keep her company. She said there are very few places she couldn't take him and thought he would be fine. There are just too many things we like to do where I can't take a dog and having him SO upset when we are gone just doesn't seem right. So I am feeling sad, but I know it is for the best.

Feeling better

Sunday evening Tucker got sick, followed by me, and Rusty. Rusty went to work this morning and I am feeling good. Tucker is still sleeping so hoping he wakes up better. Sweet Ethan took care of all of us. He was so sweet. He cleaned up the kitchen, made us chicken noodle soup and took care of the puppy.

Saturday Evening

Laura and Hunter came over for dinner and a visit. We had a very nice evening. Hunter is growing like a weed and such a happy little guy.

Chillin'

Ethan and Tucker were hanging out watching tv with Duke the other day. Duke was laying on his back like the boys, but tried to sit up when I took the picture. The camera (flash I guess) scares him and he was trying to get away.

He drags this toy around and it is as big as he is.

Well Rusty decided on Dozer instead of Rappito. Neither is clicking for me, but he is Rusty's dog so.... Speaking of Rusty's dog guess who he is bonded to? At night when Rusty gets home I give him the dog and a special chewy bone so they can bond. When he hears my voice he starts whining. It is funny!!! Rusty likes him though and thinks he is a cute little pistol. I am amazed at how much noise can come out of such a little body. He isn't used to being left alone or kenneled and boy does he make it known. I have told everyone not to pick him up when he is being naughty, but they aren't listening. I don't want him to think he gets rewarded for being loud. I have a squirt bottle to spray him when he is being especially loud.

Just to clarify

Rusty says my blog makes it sound like we got 2 puppies. So just to clarify I got one puppy, but he a chihuahua/min pin mix. He is cute, but what a baby!!! He throws a fit if he is left alone. He is a total snuggle bug. I was told him was paper trained, but that certainly isn't true. In fact if I put him in the pen area where the puppies where he will pee/poop in the kennel instead of in the box with the puppy pad. So I have some work to do. He is good with Tanzy cause she just growls at him to leave her alone, but Ellie is another story. He is trying the nurse off her like crazy and if he can't get that he is humping the crap out of her. LMBO He is only 12 weeks!!! Rusty thinks he is adorable though so I am hoping they will bond.
