Thanks to everyone that pledged money for Tuck's hit-a-thon

Tucker raised $117 for Lakeland Little League with the hit-a-thon. Thanks to everyone that supported him.

Round Lake

The boys and I went to Round Lake for the afternoon. It was beautiful out. They fished a bit, no bites, while I read in the sun. When they got bored with fishing we took a hike around the lake. What a nice day.

Tired

Last night the kittens were restless. They kept me up a good part of the night. Of course now they are sleeping soundly. They are already growing and some of them are opening their eyes.

Kittens again

Gray baby
This one is so sweet. Normally he curls up in my hand and snuggles in to nurse.

Awesome Tucker

Tucker had the hit-a-thon, pictures, and a game yesterday. He did great at the hit-a-thon and hit 18 balls. They had a great game! Tucker hit 3 really good hits and pitched great. He also made some good throws from the outfield. We went and got him a large Cookie Dough blizzard after the game.

Baby kittens

Our feral female had kittens. Tucker and Ethan found them on Thursday in my 4-wheeler seat. I had managed to catch the momma after sitting very patiently for hours. I used the babies as bait in a kennel, but as I was carrying the kennel to the barn the door popped open and she espaced. So now I am bottle feeding 5 kittens. I could give them to the momma, but then I would have 5 more feral cats. So... Rusty tried catching her bare-handed and got bit for his troubles. He had to go to the Dr. and get on antibiotics because it is infected. I borrowed a live trap from CPA(Concerned People for Animals) and so far I have trapped the male, but not the momma. Never a dull moment here. LOL
