1st game

Tucker is the one in the back. He is the safety.
#89 is Tucker

The boys had their first game last night at the Jr. High. They played Timberlake. They lost 7-24, but it was their first game. Tucker made a nice tackle in the beginning of the game. Ethan got talked into running the clock and score board. He was not real happy to do that, but he did fine. Next game Saturday at 12:30.

Food Woes

Food seems to be my nemisis. I do good for a while and then all hell breaks lose. I am so frustrated with foods that I want to eat making me feel like crap. I KNOW that wheat or gluten is going to make me bloated, crabby, tired, and now I seem to be getting a lovely rash on my eye lids when I eat it. I know dairy, at least liquid dairy, make the end of my tongue raw and my belly bloated. So why the heck do I crave these foods and why do I cave and eat them if I know I am going to feel crappy later. I need to get back to eating in a way that I will feel better, but for some reason I just can't seem to do it. ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just cause I love this picture

Last time we stopped at the Asian Grocery store Ethan talked me into buying this basket for cooking rice. Well this is the only way this rice cooker has been used. I just love this picture. It cracks me up every time I see it.

A very BIG cookie

Ethan made a HUGE cookie today. He is saving it till Tucker gets home. Not sure if it will be yummy as he kept adding ingredients. lol

Football Practice

Tucker is in the black sleeve's.
The boys practice hard each night. They told the boy's their positions for the first game last night. Tucker is a defensive safety. They will asign offensive positions tonight. Tucker is loving the game. First game is next Tuesday at 4:45 at the Junior High.

A home for Bo

I drove to Clayton, Wa. to make sure this would be a good home for the little guy. Jake is the same age as Tucker and was so happy to have Bo. He is a homeschooler and will be home all day to love on and train the little guy. Tucker was a bit sad, but what him and Ethan really want is a pug so he is holding out for that.

Rescue puppy

A friend of mine posted this cute little guy yesterday on Facebook asking if someone could take him. After teasing her that she should he is now at my house. lol The poor little guy is only about 8 weeks old and the girl that had him didn't want him and they were treating him very poorly so I told her I would take him and find him a home. He is the cutest little bugger and Tucker already renamed him Bo from Dukes of Hazard. lol

Scrapbooking

Today is my first day home alone since the boys started school this year. Ethan is at his dad's and Tucker is at school. I know I have days when they are at their friend's and I am home alone, but this is different! I wasn't quite sure what to do with myself and feeling a little sad and lonely. Well I am years, like 7, behind in my scrapbooking so I dug in and got started. The Disneyland pictures from our first trip in 2004 are now scrapbooked. Tucker will have to eat his words when he gets home. lol I worked for hours and got through the rest of the current scrapbook so I either buy more pages for it or start a new one. Looking through all the old photos was fun and kinda sad too. Boy my babies have grown up!

For all of you that knew Aunt Dawn I am posting this picture of the turkey she gave a face.
Some days Aunt Dawnie just pops into my head and I really miss her. She was so funny and so much fun to be around.

Ethan is a licensed driver

Ethan took his driving and written test today and passed both!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!! When we got home I added him to the insurance and we licensed and insured the car yesterday so he was ready to go. We went for a drive when we got home and he did great. He has been driving the car just on our private road so this is the first time he got to take it on an actual road and get out of 2nd gear. He drove to Godwin's this afternoon and did fine. He was pretty excited and getting confident that he can drive a stick. Really proud of you, Ethan!
