Leaks!

The frame around my kitchen window is leaking. I am not sure what to do. Rusty says it is because the gutters have ice damned and the water is going under the shingles and it is leaking. I have NO idea I just want it to stop. I have no idea what to do or who to call. I left him in charge and he put a heater in the window and that seemed to work for a bit, but it is leaking again. Any ideas???

Jesus is the Reason for the Season

W ith just 2 weeks before Christmas, REMEMBER:
Jesus is so separate from Santa !
Santa lives at the North Pole.
JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year
JESUS is an ever- present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too . He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
JESUS has a heart full of love.
JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry"
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.
Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree,
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.
It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.
May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008
And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year.

Snow, Snow, and More Snow

Well I have tried for two days to post pics and blogger just won't work for me. Probably all this snow! It is snowing like crazy here. I had a pic of the trampoline so you could see how much snow, but.... the snow is already up to the frame of the trampoline. It is CRAZY!!!! My muscles are killing me as are everyone elses with a shovel it their hand. Amazingly my internet is still on! It is slow, but working! Rusty just took the boys to their friends house to play for a while. They had to do school today while all the other kids get a snow day. NO FAIR!!!! That is one pet peeve about Virtual Public School, we don't get the days off that the Brick and Mortar Public Schools get. BUMMER!!!!! I will try to post pics later since I am not having luck now.

Tucker reading The Great Kapok Tree

Family Dinner

Conner and I were making cheesy smiles. Amber said Conner kept glancing to the side to make sure I was still smiling. He is so stinkin' cute!

Rusty cooked last night for Mom, Kylee, Amber and fam. He made his yummy chicken alfredo and some wonderful stuffed mushrooms.

My boys!

Ethan has a webcam on his laptop and Rusty took this picture the other day.

Snow!

I love snow on the trees! We got around 8" of beautiful, fresh snow on Friday. I got up around 7 and started shoveling walkways and decks and paths to gates, etc. I was enjoying it until I was close to done and then decided shoveling isn't SO fun! He He! Actually I enjoy shoveling most of the time. Crazy!!!
Here is our HOOPTY plow truck. Isn't it a PEACH? Gets the job done though!

IT AIN'T PRETTY!

Tucker took this through the window the other day and you can't see just how dirty she was, but she is a dirty doggie.

Ellie is a crazy dog. I wanted a calm sweet shih tzu, but no I have the CRAZY dog. She loves to make a complete mess of herself. I love the long hair, but I finally gave up and cut her hair last night. I am not a groomer and should have taken her in, but once I got started combing and realized her face was a mess AGAIN, well.... You can see the results. Good thing hair grows!
