Rainy Days
Today is rainy. It seemed like a good day to do nothing. I have been running all week and today I am sort of relaxing. Rusty and Tuck ran to the store to get stuff to make stuffed chicken breast and alfredo sauce. YUMMY!!!! I am getting the desk cleaned off and scheduling the school week and then I am going to ignore the rest of the mess and watch movies. At least that is my plan.

Time to breathe again
I haven't had any time to blog lately. I haven't even taken many pics. I did video Tucker playing his guitar, but I can't remember how to get it on the blog. I have been messing with it, but it keeps telling me it can't upload. I will figure it out later and post it. Tucker does great on his guitar, but he gets obcessed and plays the same song over and over and over until I am bonkers. Most of you know it doesn't take much to make me bonkers. LOL
Ethan went on his fishing trip with my dad and some friends on Wednesday evening. I hope they are having a good time. Tuesday morning Ethan woke up with his neck out of whack and could barely move it and then Wednesday woke up with a cold so I am hoping he isn't totally miserable. The weather is at least nice to them.
I am still working on get a good routine down to our school days. It is going a little better. Tucker pretty much has his down. Ethan's we are still trying to find that grove that makes the day go best. We moved the school room again last weekend. It is so much nicer being by the kitchen. I can at least get something done.
Cassie is enjoying being with us. I taught her to use the laptop the other day and she had fun playing some girly computer games. We did puzzles the other day and once she got over the frustration she had fun. She is very sweet and it is fun having a girl around. The other day at dinner she said, "Brenda, I love your hair, it is beautiful." SO CUTE!!! She is very serious when she says these things. She says them often.
Well Rusty and I are going to take a walk so I will post some pics and hopefully Tuck's guitar playing when I get back.

The end of another crazy week

Well we are in week 2 of school and boy am I glad it's the weekend. We are trying to get in the school grove and hitting some stumbling blocks. I spent today trying to get a better handle on this new curriculum and computer system. Not only has school been frustrating, but my computer and printer are just not working right. I need a computer guru!
I started baby-sitting this week also. Well actually Cassie is 4 so not really baby-sitting. She gets here at 4:30 in the morning so I am a bit tired this week. She is pretty easy going and is loving the boys.
Well hopefully I will have more to post tomorrow. Not much exciting going on since school started.

School days
School started on Monday for the boys and this week has been absolutely crazy busy. We are all trying to learn the new system and get back into the swing of things. Ethan has a lot of reading this year and his day has been especially long. He is trying really hard and I am very proud of his attitude. Tucker's isn't as much since he is a 4th grader, but he is doing a great job getting his work done too. Yesterday in the midst of school my poor printer gave up the ghost. I print a ton and it finally gave out. So last night after the party I flew to Best Buy and bought a new wireless printer. It is great! No more changing cords to each computer!!! Plus it has automatic two-sided printing. Doesn't take much to get me excited! It really is cool and I guess the timing was good for the old one to die because it had just run out of ink.
A Good Birthday
Yesterday was my birthday and my hubby planned a nice party for me. He invited my family over and made his yummy chicken alfredo. We have a cake and ice cream and presents. I felt like a little kids!!!! LOL Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate my birthday with me. Thanks Rusty for taking care of everything and making my day special. I love you!

Fair 2008
The fair was fun and hot. Kylee rode in the drill team again. For those of you that don't know about drill team, it is a group of young ladies that ride their horses at the fair before the rodeo. It is like drill team, but on horseback. It is really neat and they have to time things perfectly. I think this is Kylee's 3rd year doing it at the fair. I love to watch it.
These are the budweiser horses. They are HUGE!!!!
The derby car prior to the start! Tuck name was actually written on it, but you can't see it in the pic.
The car after it moved a few feet. The first hit dislodged the seat and we were out of the race. Bummer!!!
Wild Child!!! I wish I could have gotten some actions pics. He was great on the motorcycle.
Just too cute so I had to add it.
Team roping
Action pic of drill team. I am going to try to put some video from Mom's camera on here next time I get over there.
