Grandma's 80th

We planned a surprise party for Grandma's 80th. I think we pulled it off. It turned out to be a beautiful day and we enjoyed a bbq and great company. We love you Grandma.

Busyness

Today I got up early and took Tanzy and Bella into the vet. Tanzy is needing a dental. She has the WORLD'S worst breath and she has at least 2 teeth that need removed. I am hoping the dental will fix at least some of the breath issues. Bella is getting spayed and her shots.

When I got home I caught up with some friends on-line, exercised, cleaned house, and now I need to go shower instead of playing on the computer. lol

I pick Ethan up at 3:00 from his dad's and take the boys to guitar and then baseball from there. Oh and while the boys are at guitar I will run and get the dogs. So the craziness begins as the baseball season starts. But I SO LOVE this time of year.

I have been walking or jogging most days and it is just so beautiful out. I don't stop often enough and thank the Lord for this amazing place we live in. So stop and breathe in the fresh Spring air and give thanks for God for his wonderful Creation.

Golf

We found some lefty golf clubs on Craigslist for $125. They are Henry Griffitts, which apparently are expensive clubs. So now I just have to learn how to golf.

Baseball

Today was tryouts for baseball. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. It was warm and sunny! This is the first in many years that try outs haven't been inside. We should know which team he will be on in a few days.

Tucker and Bella

We got Bella on Thursday from a nice family with 6 kids so she was pre-loved! She is such a sweetie! She loves to be with us, but is also okay if we walk out of the room or being in her kennel for a bit. She loves all of us and not just me. Tanzy and Duke both like her too so that is a bonus! As you can see Tucker is rather like his mommy and loves the dogs too. lol

Cutest thing

You all know I have "cuteness" issues! You've got to admit she is adorable!

I put a corned beef brisket in the crockpot so we could have ruebens tonight and I accidently turned off the crockpot and didn't realize it. I turned it back on and was hoping it would be done, but no such luck. So we went to O'Malley's. Thankfully Lee and Patty were there and seated so we had dinner with them. Thanks guys!!! The bag pipes were great though very loud and O'Malley's was packed.

Unusually large eggs

Okay we get excited about simple things around here! Look how big that egg is!!! The one on the left is the size of a standard large egg that you would get at the store. We had had several of these abnormally large eggs lately. Not sure which chicken is laying them, but keep it up. They haven't been double yolkers either.
