Another hit-a-thon update

Tucker hit the most hits for our team and won a gift certificate for $5 at the snack shack. Congratulations Tucker!!!

Beaver Bay

We had a beautiful day at Beaver Bay yesterday. The weather was gorgeous and the kids enjoyed the water. I don't like swimming in ice so no swimming for me. LOL They had a great time with their friends and I had a nice visit with Fred and Saskia.

Pig Pig

The kittens are 3 weeks old today. This one I call Pig Pig. She is twice the size of the others. She loves to eat! She is starting to eat on her own a little bit, but still enjoys the bottle. She will wander around a bit or just snuggle in my lap. The others aren't walking much yet.

B-ball

Two more games left. Tonight and Saturday!

A windy day

We drove out to the Pond yesterday to fish, but it was just too windy. The boys had fun playing around anyhow. They kept it close the shore since we weren't sure if the little trolling motor could buck those big waves.

Almost done!

School is almost done for the year. Tucker finished his last test today. Ethan is still working on Finals. He has P.E, History, and Math still. We are all getting spring fever!!! Or should I say summer fever. I am trying to pack up some of their stuff so we can send it back and clean out the room again. I love to start with a nice, clean room in the beginning. So much junk accumulates during the school year.
The kittens are 2 weeks old. They all seem to be doing well. One of the sweet calico kittens died on Monday. I could tell she wasn't going to make it. I kept trying to get her to eat, but she just wouldn't suck. She died early Monday morning. I put her in a tea box, that's how little she was, and buried her out back. It was sad, but I am glad the rest of them are growing. The little calico below is growing so fast. She eats like a pig!!! I am nervous to leave them on Friday night and Saturday. Tucker is learning how to feed them so he can take care of them for me. I might have to ask Kylee though. Tucker thinks wiping their butts is gross! I agree, but it is necessary.

This one is my favorite little baby. She is so sweet. She snuggles up and drinks her bottle. She will even hold on to it. She is just so cute.

Tuck, Rusty, and I took the boat out to Bayview today. It was a little chilly on the water, but a gorgeous day. It was only chilly when we were going fast. Tuck fished a little bit, but he didn't have the right bait. There were some huge fish. We didn't get to stay out too long cause I had to get back to take care of the baby kittens. It was really nice though.

Thanks to everyone that pledged money for Tuck's hit-a-thon

Tucker raised $117 for Lakeland Little League with the hit-a-thon. Thanks to everyone that supported him.

Round Lake

The boys and I went to Round Lake for the afternoon. It was beautiful out. They fished a bit, no bites, while I read in the sun. When they got bored with fishing we took a hike around the lake. What a nice day.
